Torah ~ Hebrew

May YHWH bless us in our study

In learning The Ways of YHWH it is important to understand the ancient language, the times & the culture.

As we study Torah .. â€‹

The word Torah derives from a root word (yarah) which mean 'to shoot an arrow' or 'to hit the mark'. It reveals a sense of direction or aim in the way of life. Torah simply means learning about YHWH and observing His Ways, His rhythms & His patterns for life. We begin to understand His eternal covenant with us.

As we study Hebrew ..

We begin to see and experience life differently as we become more attuned to the the times and the culture and the life cycles that YHWH has designed for us. Each letter of the Aleph-Bet contains signs and numbers that point to wonderful truths about life.

Remember Yom Shabbat, to keep it Holy ~ Exodus 20:8

Shabbat begins every Friday evening at sundown

Work may be done for six days, but the seventh day is a Shabbat of solemn rest, a Holy convocation.
You are to do no work ~ it is a Shabbat to Adonai in all your dwellings. * Leviticus 23:3
